About the role

Infynex POS runs checkouts for thousands of shops and restaurants. You will build the services that keep them selling - fast payments, offline sync and real-time stock across every store.

What you will do

  • Design and build reliable APIs for checkout, payments and inventory
  • Make offline mode sync safely when a store comes back online
  • Improve speed and uptime for services handling millions of sales a day
  • Review code and mentor engineers in a team of 8

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years building backend services in Go, Java, Node.js or similar
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and event-driven systems
  • You care about clean code, testing and clear writing
  • Bonus: experience with payments or retail systems
